Taco Bell® Tacos:

A Guilty Pleasure But Worth It

I recently had the opportunity to try out the various tacos at Taco Bell, and lemme tell ya, it was quite the experience. As a longtime fan of the fast food chain, it was exciting to dive in and do my own comparisons.

First up were the classic tacos. I tried both the hard shell and the soft shell options and, honestly, I couldn’t decide which one I liked more. The hard shell had that satisfying crunch, but the soft shell was so deliciously cheesy and gooey. It’s like trying to choose between my two favorite children (if my favorite children were tacos, that is).

Next, I moved on to the specialty tacos. Now, I have to say, I was a little skeptical about the Crunchwrap Supreme. I mean, a taco wrapped in a tostada? But, I have to say, it was a game changer. The combination of textures and flavors was out of this world.

The Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme is a specialty taco that’s a combination of several different textures and flavors. It’s a large, round tortilla that’s folded and pressed to form a hexagonal shape. The base of the Crunchwrap Supreme is a tostada shell, which is topped with a layer of seasoned beef, warm nacho cheese sauce, lettuce, and diced tomatoes. On top of that, there’s a layer of crispy, golden-brown, tostada shell, which gives a nice crunch. The entire wrap is then grilled to perfection, making it warm and crispy on the outside and gooey and cheesy on the inside.

And don’t even get me started on the Doritos Locos Tacos. I mean, who doesn’t love tacos with a side of nostalgia? And the Nacho Cheese flavor just took it to the next level.

Oh man, the Taco Bell Doritos Locos Tacos are next level! They’re basically your classic taco but with a twist. Instead of a regular taco shell, they use a shell made out of Doritos. So you get that great taco taste but with a nice crunch from the Doritos. They come in two flavors, Nacho Cheese and Cool Ranch. My personal favorite is Nacho Cheese, it’s got that perfect balance of cheese and spices.

But Cool Ranch is great too, it’s got a nice cool, tangy flavor. These tacos are perfect for when you’re in the mood for something a little different. Plus, who doesn’t love Doritos?

But, wait, there’s more! Taco Bell also has vegetarian options. I tried the Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme and the Black Bean Quesarito and I have to say, I was impressed. I didn’t even miss the meat. I’m not saying I’m going to give up my carnivorous ways (although I heard that Taco Bell is exploring plant-based meat option, so stay tuned), but it’s nice to know there are options for my vegetarian friends.

The Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme is a must-try for all veggie lovers out there. It’s got the same tostada shell as a base, topped with a layer of seasoned black bean, warm nacho cheese sauce, lettuce, and diced tomatoes. It’s then wrapped with the hexagonal tortilla and grilled to perfection. It gives you a nice combination of flavors and textures, it’s a tasty and satisfying meal. It’s perfect for when you’re in the mood for something a little different, or if you’re looking for a vegetarian option. Trust me, you won’t even miss the meat!

In conclusion, I have to say, my taste buds were thoroughly impressed by the taco offerings at Taco Bell. I can’t pick just one favorite, but if I had to, I would say the Crunchwrap Supreme takes the cake (or, rather, the taco).

So, my dear readers, I encourage you to go forth and try all the taco options at Taco Bell. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Or, at the very least, you’ll regret it in the morning, but it will be worth it.

Compared to most fast-food places, Taco Bell is pretty cheap, but here’s a way to save some more bucks.
